ICL-4100 Toolbox Demo Version

Introduction

------------



The ICL-4100 Toolbox is a configuration tool for the ICL-4100 Series

Smart Remote Telemetry Unit (RTU).





Demo Version

------------



This is a demo version of the software.  It is intended to give you an

idea of the look and feel of the complete software package.  The primary

difference between the demo version and the full version is that the demo

version does not communicate with an attached RTU.  Normally, the ICL-4100

RTU is connected to the host PC with a serial cable or dialup telephone

modem in order to communicate with the Toolbox software.  Feel free to

duplicate this demo installation and pass it on to a colleague.





Installation

------------



To install the demo software, run the INSTALL.EXE program.





Removal

-------



   Run the UNSTALL.EXE program from the directory where the software was

   installed (normally the C:\TBX4100 directory).





Usage and Manual

----------------



For the most part, operation of the Toolbox is straight forward for someone

familiar with typical Windows applications.  You may need additional

information to understand the different parameters that can be set in the

ICL-4100 RTU, however.  The corresponding manuals for the ICL-4100 RTU's and

the Toolbox itself may be downloaded from our website (www.iclinks.com).



All of the ICL-4100 configuration parameters are described in the Toolbox

manual.
