Serial Communications – Extreme connectivity, extremely easy |
ICL SCADA solutions support serial communications as well as Ethernet. ICL can connect with virtually any SCADA device, and can “glue together” third-party devices without converters or upgrade older systems without complete replacement.
ICL SCADA controllers and RTUs support internal spread spectrum radios and telephone modems as well as external radios, cellular modems, leased-line modems, HMI terminals and other serial divices. ICL SCADA controllers and RTUs have conventional RS-232 and RS-485 ports to support legacy serial hardware, and our Pinnacle SCADA controllers have USB 2.0 (Universal Serial Bus) ports.
ICL products support:
Modbus RTU |
(Master and Slave) |
Modbus ASCII |
