ScadaFlex™ RTU

The ScadaFlex RTU provides remote access to a combination of analog and digital I/O points, suitable for both wireless and locally networked SCADA systems. Available options include a built-in spread spectrum data radio and a simplified operator interface to minimize system size, cost and integration headaches.

The RTU has eight (8) 16-bit analog inputs, plenty of resolution for high accuracy level, flow, pressure and temperature measurements with built-in 32-bit totalization. Additional internal analog inputs monitor the RTU's input power, temperature and battery level (UPS option).

Twenty two (22) fault-tolerant digital inputs accept AC or DC signals and have built-in 32-bit pulse and runtime totalizers as well as rate calculation.

Ten (10) overload and transient protected digital outputs can operate ON/OFF control devices, and support programmable flash rates for indicators. A separate isolated fail-safe alarm output is also provided.

For safety and reliability, the RTU's analog and digital inputs and outputs, as well as the communications port connections, are surge and overload protected.

The ScadaFlex 2200 RTU simplifies system installation and troubleshooting. Individual LED's indicate the state of each digital I/O channel, and all field wiring terminations are hot pluggable. An optional built-in operator interface supports local configuration and I/O viewing/forcing, eliminating the need for a laptop computer in the field.
