The ScadaFlex Plus - Operator Interface RTU/Controller is an "open architecture" programmable controller with built-in RS-485 networking, wireless, hardwired and modem communications, and a large standard memory capacity for data logging and "over-the-link" program updates.

ScadaFlex Plus had a built-in "mini" Operator Interface to examine or force the value of any analog or discrete I/O point and configure operating parameters, frequently eliminating the need for a laptop computer or more expensive display in the field.

As an open architecture controller, ScadaFlex Plus comes with a full licensed ISaGRAF IEC-61131 package along with support for C and C++, providing a choice of eight different programming languages to minimize retraining and ramp-up time. Mix and match any of these languages to get the job done quickly and reliably.

In addition to powerful programming tools, ScadaFlex Plus is supported by ICLs ScadaBuilder software. ScadaBuilder eliminates hours of programming time with point-and-click configuration of serial and network communications, data and alarm logging, alarm annunciation (including pager, e-mail, and voice support), and a simple but powerful MMI interface over hardwired, radio or telephone connections.

The open architecture design of ScadaFlex Plus extends to its communications capabilities. By supporting industry standard protocols like Modbus and Modbus TCP/IP as well as the standard suite of Ethernet and Internet protocols. ScadaFlex Plus is easily integrated into existing factory Local Area Networks and SCADA systems, including all of the top HMI software packages, without special drivers.
