ICL-4300

Low Power Usage

ICL-4300 The ICL-4300 is designed to minimize power consumption, making it suitable for solar-powered applications. The CPU clock speed can be reduced to save power, and the CPU core can be put into sleep mode, further lowering power consumption. When in sleep mode, the CPU core can wake up and resume operation on an external interrupt (such as COM port activity).

The chart below shows typical power consumption for the various modes, with and without a Combo I/O card:

    ICL-4300 only:

    Mode
    Power
    33MHz 2.60 watts
    33MHz Power Save 1.70 watts
    8 MHz 1.08 watts
8 MHz Power Save 0.085 watts

    ICL-4300 with Combo I/O Card:

    Mode
    Power
    33MHz 3.43 watts
    33MHz Power Save 2.47 watts
    8 MHz 1.83 watts
8 MHz Power Save 1.61 watts
