A PC compatible controller that talks? That's right, the ICL-4300 has a voice of its own. It can call you up to tell you there is a problem, or you can call it to find out the status of the system, and even make remote setpoint and register changes.
The ICL-4300 uses natural sounding recorded speech (you own), not the synthesized, difficult to understand speech you might find in other products.
The Voice User Interface (VUI) feature makes it easy for you to set up an interactive, menu-driven voice response system that you can access over a telephone.
You can record a total of 8 minutes of voice. Individual recorded messagges can be combined in any way you like to create phrases and sentences (this helps save voice recording memory).
