Electronic Technician
Duties will include, but are not limited to: testing, troubleshooting, repairing
systems and board assemblies to component level, building test fixtures, documentation,
production tracking, repair tracking and quality control.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of electronics theory
- Proficiency in operation of basic test equipment
- Troubleshooting down to the component level
- Strong understanding of Analog and Digital circuitry
- Strong understanding of Microprocessors and Microcontrollers
- Good verbal and written communications
- PC literacy, (Windows, MS Office)
- Ability to prioritize
- Ability to learn quickly on the job
- Ability to work successfully within a production environment
Desired Skills
- Experience with Industrial controllers
- Serial Communications (RS-232, RS-485, Modems)
- Experience documenting procedures
- Experience with PC troubleshooting
- Experience in workstation/server networking and TCP/IP
- Computer Programming Skills
