Interactive Voice Response

Need remote access to control/monitoring equipment any time, any place using nothing but a telephone? How about a system that automatically calls you on your cell-phone and talks to you whenever it detects a problem? You can do this and much, much more with the ICL-4300 "PC in a Brick".

With the optional Natural Voice recording/playback feature and internal dialup modem, the PC in a Brick can be configured and programmed with a Voice User Interface (VUI). The PC in a Brick can call you to deliver alarms, or you can call it at any time to interact with a set of menu options, much like a voice mail system.

You can set up the VUI with custom menus and record them in your own voice. Multiple logins with passwords can be used so that the system is secure, and callers can access only the functions you allow. Through the menus, you can find out the state of any alarms, and acknowledge them. You can hear the current value of any register, setpoint or I/O channel. You can also change setpoints, turn outputs on and off, and even make new message recordings.
