Remote Control

Industrial Control Links offers a variety of remote control and monitoring solutions. If you are looking for basic remote/distributed slave I/O modules that can communicate over a variety of media, consider the MicroBrick. If you need additional features, like alarming and data logging, turn to the "RTU in a Brick". The feature chart below will help you find the right product for your needs. All the products shown can be controlled using data communications, but some have additional features that are worth noting. The ICL-4140 and ICL-4150, for instance, are available with a built-in spread-spectrum radio for data communications and control. The ICL-4300 can be much more than a slave unit, making complex control decisions on its own. The ICL-4300 is also available with voice, which allows it to be controlled and monitored remotely over a telephone connection using its Voice User Interface (VUI - a menu driven interface, much like a voice mail system).
